Nchi yetu ina zaidi ya miaka 60 lakini bado tunahangaika na kero kama maji, umeme, elimu na huduma ya afya. Serikali ya CCM haijatatua kero za msingi za kijamii ya watanzania badala yake imekuwa chanza ya kero hizo kuongezeka. Kwa sasa kero kubwa ya wananchi ni hitaji la #KatibaMpya lakini serikali inawataka wananchi wangoje miaka mitatu. Kutokuwa na chaguzi huru na za haki imenyanganya mamlaka ya wananchi kuchagua viongozi wanaowataka, kutekwa kwa taasisi za uamuzi, kuvurugwa kwa mfumo wa utawala bora, na serikali kutoifwata sheria imepelekea uporaji wa haki za wananchi. 

Kero ya uporaji wa ardhi na serikali pia umeshika kasi ukiwaacha wananchi bila makazi wala fidia kutoka kwa serikali.  Mamia ya wananchi wa Ngorongoro wameondolewa kwenye makazi yao kwa sababu za kiekolojia lakini hoteli za kitalii zinajengwa kwenye maeneo hayo hayo. Kero zilizotatuliwa na serikali ya CCM ni kero za wezi wa umma za kutokamatwa ovyo na kukemewa na mkaguzi mkuu wa serikali.

Serikali ya CCM imeishiwa mawazo ya namna ya kuongoza nchi na badala yake utawala na utendaji wake umeishia kwenye kutumia machawa wanaoaminisha umma kuwa inafanya vizuri lakini kwa uhalisia nchi yetu bado inapitia wakati mgumu. Machawa wamekuwa wakiunga mkono na kusifia mambo hata kama yanaumiza wananchi kwa maslahi yao binafsi na ya kisiasa. Hakuna kero zilizotatuliwa, kila sehemu kuna shida, umeme, maji, nauli za juu lakini chawa wanaongea kama hakuna shida.

Namna pekee ya kutatua kero za wananchi ni kurudi kwenye katiba. Tunahitaji #KatibaMpya ili kuondokana na viongozi wasio na mzigo na matatizo ya wananchi na badala yake tupate viongozi watakowajibika kwa wananchi. Dai la #KatibaMpya si dai la CHADEMA wala wanasiasa bali ni la wananchi wote.Tuungane kupigania #KatibaMpya kwani haitatokea. Katiba bora ambayo inaweza itakidhi mahitaji ya wananchi ndiyo itakayotuokoa kutoka kwenye mfumo wa kidhalimu unaowafaidisha wachache.

Our country is more than 60 years old but we are still struggling with problems like water, electricity, education and health care. The CCM government has not solved the basic social problems facing Tanzanians, instead it has become a catalyst accelerating their existence. At the moment, the biggest concern of the people is the need for a new constitution, but the government wants the people to wait three years. The lack of free and fair elections has robbed the people's authority to choose the leaders of their choice, the enslavement of decision-making institutions, the disruption of the system of good governance, and the government's failure to follow the law has led to the loss of the people's rights.

The problem of land grabbing by the government has also gained momentum, leaving people without shelter nor compensation from the government. Hundreds of Ngorongoro residents have been forcefully evicted from their homes for ecological reasons but tourist hotels are being built in the same areas. The problems solved by the CCM government is shielding public thieves from not being caught arbitrarily and reprimanded by the Controller and Auditor General due to absence of accountability measures.

The CCM government has run out of ideas on how to lead the country and instead its administration and performance has ended up using tricksters who deceive the public into believing that the country is performing well while in reality our country is still going through a difficult time. Political tricksters have been supporting and praising things done by the government without regard to whether they have a negative impact on the public, all for their personal and political interests. No problems have been solved, everywhere continue to exist in every sector and yet political tricksters address the public as if there is no problem.

The only way to solve the problems facing the people is to return to the basis of our constitution. We need a new constitution to get rid of leaders who are not burdened with the problems of the people and instead find leaders who will be responsible to the people. The demand for a new constitution is not the responsibility that only lies in the hands of CHADEMA or politicians but rather to all citizens. Let's unite to fight for a New Constitution because it will not be handed over to us easily but must be fought for. A better constitution that can meet the needs of the people is the only thing that will save us from the tyrannical system that benefits the few in power.
