Maandamano na  migomo ni moja ya  nguvu ya umma, wananchi kuchukua madaraka yao, pamoja na kuwajibisha viongozi wasiotaka kuwajibika kwa wananchi kwa manufaa ya wananchi. Tanzania kama nchi ya kidemokrasia tuna haki ya kufanya maandamano kupinga mambo tusiyo yataka. Katika kuhakikisha hili, wananchi wameridhia katika njia ya maandamano ambayo mpaka sasa yamefanyika Mkoa wa Dar-es-Salaam, Mbeya na Arusha. Pamoja na wananchi  kuchukua hatua ya kutumia maandamano kama harakati isiyo na vurugu, serikali ya CCM imekuwa ikibeza  maandamano na kufanya yaonekane kama ni hisani kutoka kwa rais kwa kuruhusu maandamano hayo. 

Serikali ya CCM haina uchungu na raia kwani ipo kwa ajili ya maslahi yake. Matatizo mengi yanawakabili wananchi na ndio sababu ya kuamua kuitisha maandamano. Hivi karibuni tumekumbwa na mfumuko wa bei unaopelekea kushuka kwa kiwango cha maisha ya watanzania na serikali haijachukua jitihada zozote ile kusuluhisha hili. Wananchi wanataabika na CCM inauza rasilimali za nchi. etu. Vyombo vya dola vinashindwa kufanya kazi katika misingi ya katiba na kutambua mipaka yake, bunge halina nguvu yeyote kwani limekua sehemu ya serikali na si tena sehemu ya wananchi.  

Wenye uwajibu wa kwanza wa kuleta uwajibikaji ni wananchi. Wananchi wanatakiwa kusimama na kulinda rasilimali na haki zao. Kwa maandamano yaliyokwisha kufanyika yameweza kutengeneza uelewa kwa wananchi wengi zaidi juu ya yale yanayoendelea nchini.  Kuendelea mbele tunahitaji kufanya maandamano makubwa zaidi kwa njia ambayo ni ya nguvu na zaidi, maandamano yatakayowatoa jasho CCM. Pamoja na maandamano kuwa ni nyenzo muhimu ya kuleta mabadiliko, maandamano haya yaende sambamba na wananchi kujikita kwenye nafasi zao kwa kile wanachoweza kufanya kuleta mabadiliko.

ENGLISH VERSION

Peaceful demonstrations and protests are one of the means from which the people can take their power, as well as to hold their leaders who do not want to be responsible to the people to be accountable for the benefit of the people. Tanzania as a democratic country we as citizens have the right to protest against things we don't want. In order to ensure this, the citizens have resolved to use protests which until now have been held in the Regions of Dar-es-Salaam, Mbeya and Arusha. With the citizens taking action to use protests as a nonviolent movement, the CCM government has been manipulating the protests and making them look like it is a favor from the president by allowing the protests to take place. 

The CCM government does not care about the citizens because it exists for its own interests. Citizens are faced with problems that have for long been brushed off by the government. Recently we have experienced inflation that has led to the decline in the standard of living for many Tanzanians and the government has not taken any efforts to resolve this. The people are suffering and the CCM government without remorse goes forward to sell the country's resources. State institutions fail to operate on the basis of the constitution and recognize its limits. The parliament has lost its power in being the voice of the people as it has become part of the government. 

Citizens are the ones responsible to bring about accountability. Citizens need to stand up and protect their resources and rights. With the protests that have already taken place, they have been able to make more people aware of what is going on in the country. Moving forward, we need to make more impactful protests with more speed and precision, protests that will make the CCM government sweat. Protests being an important tool to bring about change, these protests should continue to take place as they go hand in hand with each citizen using their positions and opportunities to do  what they can do to bring about change.
