CCM imeweza kuendesha nchi yenye mfumo wa vyama vingi kwa katiba ya chama kimoja kwa zaidi ya miaka 25. Madhara yake tumeshuhudia ukandamizaji na ukatili unaofanywa kwa vyama vya upinzani kiasi cha kuwanyima kutekeleza majukumu yao kikatiba na kufanya haki zao kuwa kama hisani. CCM imeshindwa kuendeleza nchi katika mambo ya muhimu na msingi kama viwanda na imeturudisha nyuma kuliko alipotuacha mkoloni Mwingereza. Viwanda vimebaki kuwa kama magofu ya kuhifadhia vitu. Viwanda kama Kilitex na Mwatex leo hii havipo tena. CCM imeshindwa kutoa ajira kwa vijana, kupelekea wasomi wengi kubaki mtaani katika ajira zisizo rasmi kama boda boda na mama ntilie, maisha ni magumu. Kulikuwa na vyama huru vya wafanyakazi na wakulima lakini CCM wameviua na kuvifilisi kwa kuundiwa sheria ya ushirika. 

Kwa katiba mbovu ya sasa, nchi yetu inaongozwa na kwa matamko ya viongozi na si sheria, hii imepelekea uvunjifu wa katiba bila ya hofu yoyote ya kuwajibishwa kwa kuwa katiba ni dhaifu.Vyombo vya utoaji haki vinachukua maelekezo kutoka ka rais, serikali inapitisha sheria kandamizi ili kulinda maslahi yao na kukandamiza wananchi, sheria kama za habari nk. Watu wanaogopa kupigania haki kwa kuwa wanapopigania haki wananyanyaswa na kuteswa kwa kesi za bandia, kutekwa na kupotezwa kusikojulikana. 

Huduma za kijamii bado ni changamoto.  Wanafunzi bado wanakaa chini, vifo vya mama na mtoto bado ni tatizo na serikali imeondoa mfuko wa bima ya afya ya toto afya ambayo iliwapa wnanchi wengi wenye kipato cha chini ahueni katika kupata matibabu. CCM imefanikiwa kuleta kodi na tozo kandamizi kwa wananchi ambazo zimechangia kufa kwa biashara, na kuongeza mzigo kwa wananchi kwa kupunguza nguvu ya ununuzi. Wananchi hawaoni kama mbele hakuna mwanga bali tunaelekea kwenye giza.

ENGLISH VERSION

CCM has been able to run the country under a multi-party system with a one-party constitution for more than 25 years. As a result, we have witnessed the oppression and cruelty done to the opposition parties to the extent of denying them to perform their constitutional duties and making their rights as tokens. CCM has failed to develop the country in important things like industries and has taken us back more than where the British colonizer left us. Factories have remained as ruins for storing things. Factories like Kilitex and Mwatex no longer exist today . CCM has failed to employ young people, leading many scholars to remain on the streets in informal jobs such as bodaboda and mama ntilie. There were independent unions of workers and farmers, but CCM has killed them and bankrupted through corporate laws.

With the current corrupt constitution, our country is governed by the declarations of the leaders and not the law. This has led to violating the Constitution  without any fear of being held accountable because the Constitution is weak. To protect their interests and oppress the people, the CCM government has passed various oppressive laws such as those governing the media. People are afraid to fight for justice because they have witnessed those who do so to be harassed and tortured with fake cases, abducted, and made to disappear to the unknown. Social services are still a challenge. Students in public schools still sit on the ground, maternal and child deaths are still on a rise and the government has removed the toto afya health insurance fund for children, which gave many low-income households a relief in health services. CCM has succeeded in bringing oppressive taxes and charges to the people that have contributed to the death of businesses and decreased people’s purchasing power. People do not see the light ahead, but rather, as a nation, we are heading towards more dark days.
