Gharama Za Maisha Kupanda, Je CCM Nchi Imewashinda?

ENGLISH VERSION
Citizens need various social services and products to facilitate their daily lives but the costs have been increasing as days go by. Food products like sugar which used to be 1,500 shillings per kilo is now 5,000 shillings. If we used our land well, we could cultivate sugarcane for sugar production, and paddy for rice enough to meet the domestic supply but instead we sit down and complain every year about the rise in the prices of food products because the government has failed to put in place strong plans to facilitate local production. Bus fares have gone up twice within one year, and the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA) has been just a tool used by the government to announce new prices instead of regulating the prices. Access to electricity service continues to be a challenge causing even more problems for producers and traders who depend on electricity to carry out their economic activities, the cost of electricity units has risen to such an extent that an individual who could survive on a ten thousand worth units can no longer survive a month with the same. The minds of our leaders are not directed towards solving the problems of the people, but they are focussed on delivering services to get votes, they are there for their own interests and not for the people. Citizens should thus continue to support the CHADEMA protest to defend the interests of the citizens.
