Serikali hajawahi kushirikisha wananchi katika mchakato wa kupata #KatibaMpya   , walipojaribu kufanya hivyo mwisho wa siku wakachachachua mchakato. Wananchi walipowasilisha madai ya kutaka #KatibaMpya  , serikali ilisema inatengeneza kwanza uchumi, baadaye ikasema inafufua mchakato huo na sasa inasema itachukua miaka 3 kuelimisha watanzania juu ya Katiba lakini haijasema kwa mtaala upi na muongozo upi na kama utafiti wowote ulyofanyika kubaini kuwa ndani ya miaka 3 watanzania wote watakua wana uelewa mzuri juu ya masuala ya Katiba . Serikali yetu inaangalia maslahi yao wenyewe. Hivi karibuni ilifuta mfuko wa bima ya afya ya toto afya jambo ambalo ni la umuhimu mkubwa na tumeshuhudia ikishikilipia kupitisha mambo yasiyo ya msingi kama kuanza kuwalipa wenza wa wabunge, wabunge ambao hawalipi hata kodi. 

Tumeshuhudia wanasiasa wa vyama vya upinzani wanakimbilia bunge na posho za vikao. Leo hii wanasiasa wa chama tawala na wa chama cha upinzani wote wanazungumza lugha moja. Hakuna ari yoyote ya kutaka kuleta mabadiliko katika Taifa kwani wanansiasa wa sasa hivi wanagombania nafasi za madarakani na si kuleta mabadiliko ya nchi. Kupata #KatibaMpya  bila ya wanasiasa inawezekana kwani wanasiasa ni sehemu ndog ya jamii ya Watanzania hvyo Watanzania watambue kuwa kila mmoja ana wajibu wa kutetea Taifa.

The government has never involved the people in the process of obtaining the Constitution, when they tried to do so at the end of the day they messed up the process. When the people submitted claims for a new constitution, the government said it was first developing the economy, later on they stated to have revived the process without any clear process of how the process was to take on and recently it says it will take 3 years to educate Tanzanians about the Constitution but it has not said that the constitutional education will be based on which curriculum and which guidelines and if any research has been done to determine that within 3 years all Tanzanians will have a good understanding of the Constitution. Our government looks after their own interests. Recently, it canceled the health insurance fund of toto afya card, which is of great importance and instead we have witnessed it wanting to start spending citizen’s money on non-essential things like paying off the spouses of the members of parliament, members of parliament who do not even pay taxes.

We have witnessed politicians from opposition parties vying for parliament session allowances. Today, politicians of the ruling party and the opposition party all speak the same language. There is no desire to bring about change in the nation as the current politicians are fighting for positions of power and not about bringing about change in the country. Getting a new Constitution without politicians is possible because politicians are a small part of Tanzanian society, so Tanzanians should realize that everyone has a responsibility to defend the nation.
