Wananchi wanaripoti matukio ya ndugu zao kupotea, wakati wa awamu ya 5 hii ilijulikana kufanyika na wasiojulikana. Kila mtu ana haki ya kuishi, inapotokea mwananchi amepotea ni wajibu wa polisi kufanya upelelezi wa kutosha na kutoa taarifa kwa umma lakini mara nyingi polisi wamekuwa kimya zinapotokea taarifa za watu kupotea. Kuna matukio ya wananchi kuuwawa na polisi, mfano Loliondo na Serengeti lakini hakuna uchunguzi huru. Tume ya haki za binadamu nchini imekuwa mateka wa Serikali, imeshindwa kuchunguza matukio yote yaliyotokea nchini kwa uwazi ili kuhakiki kama haki imetendeka. Vyombo vya habari vinakwepa kuandika habari kwa kina kuhusu watu wanaopotea, watu wanaokufa katika vituo vya polisi, hii inatokana na mfumo mbovu wa sheria unaokandamiza vyombo vya habari. 

Kuna wafanyabiashara wamepotea katika Eneo la Kariakoo, jumla ni wafanyabiashara 9, lakini pamoja na kelele nyingi kuhusu tukio hili, polisi wamekwepa wajibu wao kuchunguza matukio haya. Kuna malalamiko mengi sana kuhusu watu kukamatwa na polisi kisha kupotea na polisi hukana kabisa hapo baadaye kuwakamata kama walivyofanya kwa wanasiasa waliokamatwa Mwanza, Lakini mpaka leo hakuna polisi amewajibika. Hatua ya kwanza kuondosha masuala kama ya wasijulikana na watu kupotea ni kuweka #KatibaMpya.  Bila katiba bora watu wataendelea kupotea, vyombo vya ulinzi vitaendelea kuhujumu wananchi bila kuwajibika.

Citizens report incidents of their relatives going missing, during the 5th phase this was known to be done by unknown people. Everyone has the right to live, when a citizen goes missing, it is the duty of the police to conduct an adequate investigation and provide information to the public, but often the police have been silent when there are reports of missing people. There are incidents of citizens being killed by the police, such as Loliondo and Serengeti, but there is no independent investigation. The human rights commission in the country has become a hostage of the Government, it has failed to investigate all the events that happened in the country clearly to check whether justice has been done.

 The media avoids writing detailed information about missing people, people dying in police stations, this is due to a corrupt legal system that suppresses the media. There are businessmen missing in the Kariakoo area, a total of 9 businessmen, but with a lot of noise about this event, the police have shirked their duty to investigate these events. There are many complaints about people being arrested by the police and then disappearing and the police completely deny arresting them afterwards as they did to the politicians arrested in Mwanza, but until today no policeman has been held accountable. The first step to eliminate issues such as the unknown and people getting lost is to put #KitibaMpya. Without a better constitution, people will continue to be lost, the security agencies will continue to sabotage the people without responsibility.
