Chama Cha Mapinduzi kimekuwa kiking’ang’ania madaraka kwa miongo kadhaa, jambo ambalo ni hatari kwa kuwa imesababisha haki za wananchi kupotea. Mara nyingi imepelekea kukiuka katiba na kuumiza wananchi wakati wa uchaguzi. Katiba inatoa haki za msingi za binadamu lakini haki hizo hazilindwi mfano haki ya kuishi inaanza pale mtu anapozaliwa na sio anapokufa serikali imekuwa ikitambua na kuwajibika pale mtu anapokufa. Ibara ya 129, ya katiba imeanzisha tume ya haki za binadamu kazi zake za msingi ni kulinda haki za binadamu lakini tume hii haiwajibiki, kwenye suala la  Ben Saanane haikusadia kwa chochote.

 Tume ya haki za binadamu haiwezi kuwajibika kutokana na mifumo ya kikatiba ya nchi hii, mwenyekiti wa tume hiyo anateuliwa na Rais lazima atafanya kazi kumpendeza Rais. Haki za watu zimekuwa zinacheleweshwa mahakamani, uchunguzi katika kesi za jinai umekuwa ukifanyika kwa miaka mingi na baadaye watu kuachiwa. #KatibaMpya ndio suluhu ya haya hivyo #KatibaMpya haitakiwi kuwa kama huruma, ni haki ya watanzania kwa usalama wa maisha yao kwai italeta mifumo bora ya utawala wa nchi bila kutegemea hisani ya Rais. Lazima wananchi waendelee kupiga kelele ili kupata mfumo wa katiba ambao utaleta manufaa kwa nchi yetu.

Chama Cha Mapinduzi has been clinging to power for several decades, something which is dangerous because it has caused the rights of the people to be violated. Many times it has led to violating the constitution and caused harm upon people during elections. The constitution provides basic human rights but these rights are not protected, for example the right to live begins when a person is born and not when one dies, the government has been recognizing and taking responsibility when a person dies. Article 129, of the constitution has established a human rights commission whose basic tasks are to protect human rights but this commission has never been responsible, in the case of Ben Saanane it did not contribute to anything. 

The human rights commission cannot be held accountable due to the constitutional systems of this country, the chairman of the commission is appointed by the President and must work to please the President. People's rights have been delayed in court, investigations in criminal cases have been held for many years and later in time people are being released. A new constitution is the solution to all this, and its demand should not be at the mercy of those in power because it is the right of Tanzanians to demand for a new constitution for the safety of their lives as it will establish better governance systems for the country. The people must continue to raise their voices demanding for a new constitutional system that will bring lasting benefits to our country.
