Kitakwimu wanawake ni wengi kuliko wanaume katika jamii yetu, hivyo wana nafasi kubwa ya kutetea Taifa kwa harakati zinazofanyika nchini. Wananwake wa BAWACHA wameonyesha mfano mzuri kwa kufanya maandamano ya amani kumtaka Spika Tulia Ackson kutokuvunja sheria na kufuata katiba. Maandamano haya yamekuwa mfano kuwa maandano yanawezekana kwa watu wengine kwa kuwa ni haki kikatiba. Wanawake wamebeba msingi ya jamii yetu, hivyo wana nafasi kubwa ya kusababisha mabadiliko kwa kuwa wao ni walezi wa jamii.

Ni muhimu kwa wanawake wenye uelewa na mambo ya #KatibaMpya kuelekeza wanawake wengine ambao hawana elimu hii ili kusogeza mbele harakati za kudai katiba bora. Pamoja na Rais wa sasa kuwa ni mwanamke lakini amefelisha kundi kubwa la wanawake nyuma yake kwa ukatili unaoendelea serikalini kwa sasa, ni wajibu wa kila mmoja kukemea hili. 

#KatibaMpya ni matarajio ya watanzania ili kuapata #KatibaMpya itakayodumisha amani, usalama na utulivu nchini, katiba itakayostawisha zaidi haki za binadamu, utawala wa sheria, utawala bora na kudhibiti maovu. Suala la kuwa na #KatibaMpya ni muhimu ili kukidhi matakwa ya wananchi na kuhakikisha maendeleo ya nchi yanakuwa ni jukumu la kila mwananchi. Maandamano ya 2001 Zanzibar wanawake walikaa mstari wa mbele na ndio walioumizwa sana, wanawake ni washiriki wazuri katika kutetea maslahi ya jamii zao. Hivyo, uhamishaji ueendelee kutolewa kwa wananwake ili kusogeza mbele harakati za #KatibaMpya.

Statistically, women constitute a greater number compared to men in our society, this gives them a great opportunity to defend the nation through the human rights movements that take place in the country. The women from CHADEMA women’s council BAWACHA have shown a good example by holding a peaceful protest asking Speaker Tulia Ackson to refrain from breaking the law and follow the constitution. This protest has set precedence that peaceful protest is possible for other people because it is a constitutional right. 

Women carry the foundation of our society, thus have a great chance to effect change because they are the guardians of the society. It is important for women who understand the importance of the need for a new constitution so that they are in a position to impart the knowledge to other women. This will push further the movement to demand for a better constitution. With the current President being a woman, the existence of injustice in the government only proves that she has failed a large group of women behind her. It is thus everyone's responsibility to condemn this.

The new constitution is expected to establish peace, security and stability in the country, a constitution that will further respect human rights, the rule of law, good governance and put an end to the existing injustice. The demand for a new constitution is important inorder to meet the wishes of the people and ensure the country’s development. In the 2001 protests in Zanzibar, women were in the front line and were the ones who were hurt the most, women have thus proved to be good participants in defending the interests of their communities. Therefore, women should be encouraged and empowered to continue participating and taking part in the movement for the demand for a new constitution.
