Kinachokwamisha Taifa letu kupata maendeleo ni ombwe kubwa la viongozi kwa asilimia kubwa ni  wasiowajibika hasa wabunge, hakuna sehemu wananchi wanaweza wawajibisha . Bunge limeshindwa  katika kupitisha miradi yenye tija , Kwa mfano wameingizi  hasara  wananchi kwa kuweka TOZO lukuki . Tumefika hatua mbaya ya kukopa ili kulipa deni, hii ni mikopo isiyo na tija inayochukuliwa na viongozi wasiowajibika kutokana na katiba dhaifu. Kwa sasa kuna udhaifu mkubwa kwa bunge kusimamia miradi ya nchi.

Tumepoteza pesa nyingi kwa miradi mingi ambayo mpaka sasa inaingiza Taifa hasara kutokana na Bunge kutotimiza wajibu wake kikamilifu. Ili Bunge litimize wajibu linatakiwa kuwa na meno kikatiba ili kisimamia serikali katika kuhudumia wananchi.
Wabunge wengi hawawezi kuhoji miradi kwa kuhofia kutopata nafasi hizo tena kwa kuwa wengi wamepata nafasi hizo kwa kupewa na si kwa kuchaguliwa na wananchi kama inavyotakiwa. Pia wabunge walio wengi hawafanyi kazi ipasavyo kwani hawaonekani wakiitisha mikutano ya hadhara kwenye majimbo yao, wamekuwa watu wasiowajibika kutokana na katiba isiyowasukuma kufanya hivyo. Ili kuwe na utendaji lazima kuwe na mgawanyo wa madaraka kamili ambao utaweka mipaka ya kazi za bunge ili kuleta uhuru wa taasisi hii katika utekelezaji wa majukumu yake. Tunatakiwa kuwa na #KatibaMpya ambayo itaweka haki ya kuwateua na kuwaondoa wabunge kwa kupitia mamlaka ya wananchi.  Katiba bora itasaidia kuondoa viongozi ambao hawawezi kuwajibika na wasio na uwezo. Kama wananchi tujitahidi kuleta mabadiliko ya katiba ili kupata mamlaka hayo kama wananchi”

What is preventing our nation from progressing is the presence of irresponsible leaders, especially parliamentarians. The Parliament has failed in authorizing productive projects and as a result approving the tax levies that have become a burden for the citizens. We have reached a bad stage of borrowing to pay off debt. These are unproductive loans taken by irresponsible leaders due to a weak constitution. Currently, there is a great weakness in managing the country's projects and as a result we have lost a lot of money on many projects which until now are only generating losses to the nation due to the inability of the Parliament to fulfill its responsibilities. In order for Parliament to fulfill its responsibilities, it must have the constitutional power to act as a watchdog to monitor other organs of the state in serving the people. Many Members of Parliament cannot question the country’s projects for fear of not losing their positions in the coming elections as the positions they fill were not acquired by people’s votes as required. Also, the majority of the Members of Parliament do not work effectively as they are not seen calling public meetings in their constituents, they have become irresponsible people due to the constitution that does not hold them accountable. In order for the parliament to perform well, there must be a complete separation of powers that will limit the work of the power and influence of the other branches of the government parliament to bring about the independence of the institution in the implementation of its duties. We need to have a new constitution that will establish the right to appoint and remove from office Members of Parliament through the authority of the people. A new constitution will help remove leaders who are not responsible and incompetent. As citizens, let's strive to bring about changes in the constitution to bring the power back to us"
