Wananchi wanasema hawaoni sehemu ambayo serikali imefanikiwa katika kutatua changamoto za wananchi wake. Serikali ya Chama Cha Mapinduzi imefeli katika kila nyanja. Huduma za jamii kama maji, umeme, afya na elimu  na miundombinu bado ni tatizo kubwa. Wananchi wamehoji juu ya Serikali kukopa nchi za nje na kuongezeka kwa deni la taifa lakini huduma muhimu bad haziboreshwi.
Kuna matumizi mabaya ya rasilimali za nchi kwani Serikali imekua ikitumia pesa nyingi kwenye mambo yasiyo ya msingi kama sherehe za kupokea viongozi na misafara ya viongozi. Wananchi wanalalamika juu ya gharama za maisha kuendelea kupanda na serikali kutochukua hatua yeyote kuleta unafuu wa maisha kwani hata kuwezesha wananchi wake na ajira serikali ilishasema sio jukumu lake. Wananchi wamepoteza matumaini ya kupata ahueni ya maisha ndani ya Chama Cha Mapinduzi na kusema kwamba kitu ambacho Chama Cha Mapinduzi kimeweza kufanikiwa ndani ya miaka 61 ya utawala wake ni kutengeneza jamii yenye watu waoga katika kusema na kuhoji mienendo ya serikali.
Wananchi wamekumbushana kuwa watu ndio wananosababisha mabadiliko kutokea. Idadi ya watu wanaotaka mabadiliko ikiongezeka itasababisha mabadiliko kutokea. Hivyo, nguvu ya umma inahitajika kuleta mabadiliko. Matatizo ya wananchi yatatatuliwa na viongozi imara, na viongozi imara watapatikana tuu kwa kuwa na sheria imara ambayo ni katiba. Madai ya katiba mpya imeendelea kuwa kipaumbele kwani katiba mpya italeta mabadiliko ya kudumu kwa matatizo ya watanzania.

Tanzanians stated that its government has not been successful in solving the challenges faced by its citizens. The Chama Cha Mapinduzi government has failed in every aspect. Basic social services such as water, electricity, health services, education and infrastructure are still a big problem. Citizens have questioned the frequency of the Government's borrowing from foreign countries and the increase in the national debt, while important services remain unprovided for. There is misuse of the country's resources as the Government has been spending a lot of money on non-essential things such as leaders welcoming ceremonies and caravans.
Citizens are complaining about the rising cost of living and the government has not taken any action to bring relief as even in the creation of jobs it clearly stated that it is not its responsibility. The people have lost hope of getting a relief from the harsh costs of living, not while the current Chama Cha Mapinduzi is still in power and stated that the only thing that ruling party (Chama Cha Mapinduzi) has been able to achieve in the 61 years of its rule is the creation of a society where people are afraid to speak and question the actions of the government. Citizens have reminded each other that they as citizens are the ones who can bring and cause change to happen. If the number of people who want change increases, it will catalyze change to happen. Thus, public effort is needed to bring about change. 

People's problems will be solved by good leaders, and good leaders will only be found by having a strong law which is the constitution. The demand for a new constitution should continue to be a priority as it will bring permanent changes to the problems faced by Tanzanians.
