Katika jitihada za kujenga umoja katika taifa letu la Tanzania, vyama vya upinzani vinaonekana kuweka nguvu zaidi kuliko chama tawala, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). Wananchi wamesema kuwa chama tawala CCM hawapendi kugawana nguvu ya uongozi na vyama vya upinzani. CCM kimekuwa kikiwapinga na kuwandamiza vyama vya upinzani na wakati mwingine kwa kutumia nguvu huku wakiwanyima haki zao kikatiba. Uonevu wa chama tawala umeonekana si tuu kwa vyama vya upinzani bali hata kwa raia mmoja moja hasa wale wa vyama vya upinzani, hali ambayo imepelekea majeraha na utengano katika jamii. Kazi kuu ya CCM ni kuhudumia wananchi na kuhakikisha kuwa Tanzania ni mahali pazuri na wananchi wake  wanaishi kwa furaha. Kwa maovu wanayoyafanya chama tawala cha CCM, kisasi pekee ambacho wananchi wanaweza kufanya ni kujijenga na kutengeneza mshikamano wenye nguvu itayoweza kuwatoa CCM madarakani kwa njia za kidemokrasia ili kupata serikali itakayoheshimu and kutumikia wananchi wake kwa haki.

In an effort to build national unity in Tanzania, the opposition parties are seen to be more powerful than the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). Citizens have stated that the ruling party CCM does not want to share leadership power with the opposition parties. CCM has been opposing and suppressing opposition political parties and sometimes the use of force is applied while denying them their constitutional rights. Oppression undertaken by the ruling party does not end with opposition political parties but extends to individual citizens as the ruling party has been seen not only by the opposition parties as institutions but also towards individual citizens, especially those of the opposition parties a situation that has led to physical, emotional and psychological injuries leaving behind a disarrayed society. CCM’s main task is to serve the people and ensure that Tanzania is a peaceful place and its people live with content. The evil acts we see being committed by the ruling party CCM, the only revenge that the people can undertake is to build a formidable force  creating a strong unity that will be able to remove CCM from power through democratic means to get a government that will respect and serve its citizens with the utmost respect and justice.
